AAGE HEMPEL CRAME inaugurates their Training Centre in Algeciras with courses for JRC and SAILOR

This passed 18th of June,  AAGE HEMPEL CRAME, leader in marine electronics  sector at International level, opened its new State of the Art Training Centre in Algeciras with two highly specialized training aimed at Spanish and Portuguese distributors of the JRC PREMIUM y SAILOR SELECT networks.

Along 4 days, the event compiled 12 assistants from other companies in the marine sector coming from far away places such as Azores, Alicante, Algeciras, Aveiro, Vigo, Bilbao, Santander, Peniche, La Coruña, Palma de Mallorca, Las Palmas de Gran Canarias and Tenerife. The course was imparted by their own Juan Jose Matilla and Ruben Zurilla, both in charge of technical support and the network distribution of JRC and Sailor alike. They both have a profound experience of the distributors and of their specific technical requirements.

With a maximum forum of 12 participants per session, the objective is to offer a very personalized training placing under the focus those aspects most values by technicians of installing companies like configuration of equipment’s, resolving technical problems, execution of repairs, post sales maintenance, commissioning protocols and also how to apply for warranties.

During the event, the new JRC NWZ-4610 MID (Multi Info Display) series was presented just recently launched at Norshipping in Oslo. At the same time, the new paid warranty conditions exclusive to Select Sailor Distribution of AHC.

The Centre has at its disposal some of the most advanced audiovisual aids and a complete showroom of equipment.

Technical Training Centre of International reference with “hands on” philosophy.

With more than 100 square metres and 25 operative equipment on permanent exposition, the Aage Hempel Crame training Centre has been conceived and equipped to be an International Reference for the Technical Formation if marine electronics. All assistants can have hands on training and operate interconnected equipment that are totally functional on transmission and reception in the most comfortable surroundings but at the same time imitating a real vessel.

Courses will be given by leading manufacturers in the industry. At the same time the training of Aage Hempel Crame employees and the outside formation of the network and public organizations amongst other clients.

Carsten Vigsø, Regional Sales Manager of Cobhan Satcom, whom atended the event in representation of one of the manufacturers declared after the event: “We are very impressed with the level, quality and specifications reached at the Aage Hempel Crame Training Centre. The 6000 series from Sailor is present in its entirety; VHF, MF/HF, Inmarsat C, Fleet Broadband… These installations are one  of the best, if not the best, worldwide that we have seen in the Marine electronic training”.

CRAME, recently integrated to Aage Hempel now AHC, has been giving training courses for more than 8 years to the distribution chain with collaboration of their principal suppliers. The new objectives in this new phase are based on creating this service with added value adding the best ways and most number of themes.
